Dear creator,

Firstly, I’m really excited by what you might create! Feel free to follow any of the tags or prompts, but also, pillage my likes list for whatever you’d like. Previous letters are also up for grabs, but please only use this letter’s DNW please.

In general, given the nature of the tags I’ve chosen, I’m requesting a lot of heavy angst. This is a disclaimer: feel free to make these as brutal, sad or upsetting as you want. You can take whatever liberties (DNWs not withstanding) to get it there, and (similarly) I’m happy to see all my faves do terrible things (to themselves, to each other, to other people). Self-destruction, baby! But if you want to write/portray happy endings? I’m here for that too! Happy or hopeful endings can be refreshing. I just want you know that if you want to get bleak beyond measure, feel free to.

There’s a couple of happier tags mixed in there, if we matched on those: ignore this! :D I liked those less miserable tags and couldn’t bare not to request them even if the rest of my requests are themed!

Hamilton

I actually started relistening to the soundtrack while I was choosing my tags for this ship and it filled me with so many strong Hamburr feelings again, I love them so much. The idea that Burr is constantly feeling second-best, that Hamilton doesn’t even notice — or, when he does, doesn’t understand it — and that it twists Burr up inside, making him bitter and desperate. He wants to hate Hamilton, but he also desperately wants his approval — and his dick. Okay, that bit might be my own shippy heart but look.

I’m happy for them to have hookups and sex, but I would rather it be casual for Hamilton and very-not-casual for Burr. If you want to write more requited feelings, ghost!Hamilton is also juicy to me, because it adds an element of not being able to actual touch or really connect.

For Theodosia, I’m alright with her not being in the story, or Burr loving her as well. I’d rather it not be dwelt on if you head canon that he didn’t love her at all. For homophobia, I don’t mind it not being mentioned, it being less serious than it actually was, or a serious concern. Or, basically, however you want to handle it is fine by me.

Another one that could go multiple ways (inc. ones I’m can’t think of right now, I’m sure!):
- The actual, literal war. Maybe there are nights where they seek each other out, having been through so much together despite how much they dislike each other. Maybe Burr specifically seeks Hamilton out, because Hamilton has enough friends from the war and Burr has no one.

- After the assassination, Burr has to learn to live with what he did and how people see him.

> Hanahaki - love interest can't requite because they are dead
I only recently discovered how much I like Hanahaki but…turns out I love this tropei! I don’t mind Burr dying, I don’t mind him forever living with it for the rest of his life. Physical pain to match the psychic!

I can’t imagine Burr confessing in some grand way, but even slight rejection feels like it might set Burr off. One day, when Hamilton has run out of fucks to give, he’s just straight-up rude to Burr, or rejects his advances, or humiliates him in front of other people.

Give me that good good I-can’t-stop-thinking-about-you love.

Hooking up with Hamilton despite knowing it’s a bad idea, hooking up with other guys to try to forget Hamilton, hooking up with people who remind him of Hamilton after Hamilton dies…the possibilities are endless!

By budding relationship, I’m imagining a casual thing, but maybe it could even be that they try at a relationship early on in knowing each other? And Burr’s such a disaster and so terrified of commitment and vulnerability that he fucks it up royally.

> Sex Pollen Aftermath - Emotionally Devastating/Disturbing for A but No Big Deal B
In my head, I’m imagining A = Burr, B = Hamilton. It could either be the first time having sex — perhaps Burr already knows he has some sorta feelings towards Hamilton, perhaps he hasn’t realise it yet — or it could be like in the Aftermath tag above, where it’s the intimacy and tenderness that devastates Burr.

I could be very into for Hamilton rejecting him afterwards, too, if you wanted that. Just casually shouldering him off while Burr reckons with what happened.

> Soulmate AU - Killing Their Soulmate
Self-explanatory. Them not realising their soulmates until the final shot is excellent, but finding out in the lead-up to the duel and having to reckon with it? Very good too. Or, even, this combined with the other soulmate tag I have, and Burr knows Hamilton is his soulmate, but Hamilton isn’t his (and perhaps doesn’t realise that he is Burr’s — or does he?).

Yup, this is what I like.

Maybe trying to fix the duel and failing, but maybe there’s another moment in canon that Burr is convinced is the thing that fucked their relationship, or fucked his life up, and he’s trying desperately to scrabble towards a solution.

<3 Ugh, such a sucker for this. I want to watch Burr fall apart under Hamilton’s casual affection.

The Folk of the Air

I love to see both of these characters suffer, and suffer terribly. I like the way Cardan leans into his suffering and, in the first book, makes others suffer in retaliation. I like the way Jude struggles against it and is defiant until the last. Let’s further break these cuties!

I love their dynamic in all the books, but Cruel Prince in particular is my favourite, when they are at odds with each other. And early Wicked King was rad. They are such utter and complete disasters. Having said that, wherever you wanna situate the story is fine by me — in fact, a few of my prompts deal with QoN and post-canon stuff anyway.

I have read the novella, and I absolutely loved it, but if you wanna ignore it for a different post-marriage dynamic, I’m good with that!

> A would do anything to keep B safe - including hurting them worse than anyone else
Yes please. Especially A being Cardan and making Jude suffer. Because she has the most ungenerous takes of anyone who has ever existed, she almost certainly would never guess it came from a place of keeping her safe, and because he’s so….Cardan-y, there’s no way he’d explain what he was doing — heck, look at the exile. What a mess.

But I am also up for A being Jude and her hating it but taking some pleasure out of it too.

Really, them just hurting each other is good stuff.

> Accidental Soulbond - Unsuccessfully trying to fight it
Perhaps they soulbond somewhere in Cruel Prince, or early in Wicked King — or, maybe, it turns out the promise she puts him under also results in soul bonding. I’d love to see them fight it. Especially, I imagine Cardan would give in so much easier and try to get Jude to break.

Yessss. I love this tag so much and I think it’s self-explanatory.

> Bad Guys Made Them Do It
I can definitely see Balekin or Daine or Valerian or Locke or someone orchestrating this. They hate how much they want it and enjoy it even as their first, and I imagine it’d be very intense.

> Canon Break-It - Break the Ways Canon Resolved Conflict and Make it Worse for the Characters
Yup! Any breaks you want to make, I am here for, but here are suggestions:
- Nobody gives Jude salt after she’s pollened in Cruel Prince, and it goes much further.
- In Wicked King, Locke actually manages to kill her (or Valerian killing her in Cruel Prince) — and when she’s resurrected, she comes back wrong.
- After slaying snake!Cardan, he does not return to human form alive — in fact, he’s very much dead. So either mourning him, or some Came Back Wrong stuff with resurrection.
- Balekin takes it much further in the Undersea and Jude isn’t quite right after. Cardan notices. Does he help, or does he attempts at help make it worse? Does he kill Balekin himself, and how would Jude feel about someone else picking her battles?
- What if the coup had gone without a hitch? Or if it had been foiled before blood was spilled?
- Madoc realises she's not Taryn very quickly, while they’re camping.
- The ceremony, where Locke humiliates Jude with the ugly dress and pretending to be charmed by it, goes further than it did in canon.

But uhhh there’s pretty much no part where I wouldn’t be up for something be broken further. I’m not very good at thinking of ideas for fix-its, so I’m not for break-its either — wherever your imagination takes you is good with me!

I don’t have solid ideas for this one but I love this tag and would love to see what a creator could come up with for it! Betrayal and death, my two faves :D

Ugh, I love this. Especially the smugness of this tag. It works really well. I don’t mind this coming with a side of non- or dub con, or any other dark elements.

Maybe the curse leads to a monster pregnancy and then this? I’m not super interested in the impregnation part (breeding kink is a bit of a squick for me), but the actual pregnancy can be in detail, as can the miscarriage. Or you can concentrate on the horrifying body horror-elements, or the emotional distress. Basically, anything post-conception is up for grabs!

Self-explanatory. They are the poster children rfor mutual obsession and I love it. What terrible lengths do they go to because of that obsession?

> Pining for character who came back wrong
I’ve touched on this in the other tags but — Cardan coming back wrong after being killed as a snake, or Jude having been murdered at some point. I love, love, love the pain of seeing the person you love in a way that isn’t quite right. Especially if it’s at points where they haven’t yet fully come to terms with their love, until the moment they realise they lost them.

Mostly thinking of faerie fruit or some fae thing that fucks with mortals, including a gaes. But Cardan being somehow doused with something would be fun to see too! Or him not even realising at first that Jude is doused, or something? Whatever you like. Dubcon is great, I’m into noncon for this too.

> Time Loop - trying and failing to fix it until you realize there is no way to "fix" it
Awh. I don’t mind when this takes place — maybe trying to stop the murderous coup, maybe trying to stop Cardan from exiling her, maybe him trying to stop her from being kidnapped, maybe her trying to stop Cardan from having the curse overtake him etc. Etc. I’m also into either of them (both of them?) looping while attempting to fix some entirely invented event of your choosing. Or them looping and slowly realising the other is also looping, that’s always fun.

I don’t mind if this is that they can’t fix that event but can still break the loop, or them (either/both) being stuck in the loop forever. Horror is always fun.

This is so juicy and pretty self-explanatory. I would happy for either of them being the one forced to watch or die — and I don’t mind if the loops break by saving them or by letting them die and doing something else.

I’d be particularly interested in this being post-canon, where they have a more stable relationship, but it being when they are still pining is also wonderful.

DCU Comics

>>> Edward/Harley

I’ve mostly picked unrequited love freeforms for these two, because I love to see Edward angst and suffer in his unrequited affections. I don’t mind Harley and he having casual sex, or her using him for comfort (and him knowing it) or her just seeing him as a friend. But I would rather it go unresolved than for her to come around to having real, concrete feelings for him. However, if you have other interpretations that would hit these tags, hit me with them!

I particularly like the era of Edward where he’s trying to be a private investigator and not fall back to crime, but really struggling. That’s angst I can’t resist! But his villain eras is also pretty juicy and full of great moments so go with whatever works for you.

I haven’t seen the Harley Quinn film or dedicated cartoon (I’ve seen a lot of BTAS), so feel free to use or discard whatever suits you. The thing that made me start shipping this, if you’re curious, is Gotham City Sirens, with Harley and the girls using him as a pawn and him feeling betrayed, followed by a short kiss. But I don’t need that canon included.

Mmm I love all flavours of this trope. The idea that Harley loves him platonically but not romantically is so good. Or loves him like a brother. Or even, loves him but not enough and not deeply. Not more than the Joker or Ivy (either/or). Just the moment of watching him trying to stop his heartbreak from showing is wonderful.

This is always fun! Harley marrying Ivy is something I’m particularly interested in, as I do ship them, but also, her marrying anyone would ble fun. Even a Vegas wedding with someone random while Eddie wonders why it isn’t him up there, why it’s never him etc. Good good stuff. Does he even get to be best man? Does he give a speech? What’s his wedding gift? Does whoever he sits next to at the reception sorta realise he has feelings for her? Heck, does everyone know?

This trope though. Does he admit it? Does he keep it hidden? Does she suspect anything? Who is her soulmate? How do they both feel about it? If he does keep it hidden, what happens when she finds out? Or what lengths does he go to to stop that from happening?

This one feels pretty self-explanatory!

They both have some loneliness going on, I’m sure — Harley because of the Joker, the Riddler because of…everything. I’d love to see any focus on that. Them feeling less lonely together and seeking each out, or making each other feel even lonelier because they want different things.

I really like this when it’s coupled with low self-worth and absolute worship of the other person.

Self-explanatory! With each other, with other people — up to you!

Ditto. I feel like this would emotionally wring them out.

This feels really appropriate for them. One-sided pining, platonic dates, friendly hangouts that feel like being in a couple but aren’t, etc. Etc.

I love this trope so much. Just watching him quietly crumble while trying to hold it together, wanting all those tiny acts even though they cut him to pieces. It’s so damn tasty.

Star Wars Sequel Trilogy

To start off with, please don’t be afraid to make Hux as petty as he is in canon if that’s what you want; I actually enjoy that part of him! And I don’t mind Rose getting frustrated. If anything, it adds to the angst~

I have a real soft spot for both these characters: Hux, barely-in-control and desperate for power and to prove himself; Rose, sure-footed and unafraid, defiant and with perhaps a touch too much need to help people.

For any unrequited tags, I’m actually up for either/or. I’ve prompted more for Hux being the unrequited party because it’s easier to imagine that, but if you want to flip it around, and have her dealing with some Extremely Complicated feelings, that’s fine. Or, she could requite but she can’t ever forgive him for the things he’s done, so she won’t give into any feelings.

I’m happy for this to be consensual or not, on whichever side suits you best. For any consensual D/s elements you might want to include, I do have a preference for Rose as the domme.

Hux as a Order spy is such a rich vein of complicated feelings :D Rose and Hux hating each other, having to learn to trust each other. Hux, hating to have anyone else responsible for him because he knows what happens when people abuse their power. Rose, perhaps begrudgingly coming to respect his work?

And maybe, as his handler, she witnesses or hears reports of him doing stuff she can never unhear or unsee, that ensure she can never feel the way he feels about her. I am up for them learning to trust each other, or failing to. Whatever works for you!

Some of my tags aren’t complete misery-ville :D

Hux can pretend all he likes, but we all know that secretly he loves being bossed around, made to eat pussy, spanked and restrained. This being something they explore or discover together is cool, as is it just him fantasising obsessively about her. Or casual hookups that turn to more. Or…however you want to do this. I just love this.

This is so much fun, them both struggling upstream from each other while the current sucks them…okay this metaphor isn’t making much sense, aye.

I’m partial to both this and the other soulbond tag (that is causes sickness and pain unless they have regular sex), so I had trouble picking: feel free to include elements of either.

Always fun! I think this one is self-explanatory. Either or both of them wanting it is great — either or both not wanting it is also good.

I love this. Either of them being the one who is the other soulmate would be soooo good. Or, if you want to subvert this, and have it be that say, Hux thinks Rose isn’t his, but she knows he is — she just doesn’t want it to be true, so won’t admit it. And so he’ll spend the rest of his life pining while she has to live with the fact her soulmate is despicable. So much angst on both sides!

But, to go the more traditional route, I’d love to see him wrestling with the fact that someone he considers "below him" is his soulmate, and maybe getting obsessed. And her being disgusted by all this. Or anything to do with this trope: I will eat it all up with a spoon, honestly.

But seriously, I love this. Relying on each other is always a lot of fun! Them being stranded together, stuck together some how, or just Hux having survived TROS and now having nothing. Or either of them being desperate to do X thing or solve X problem and the other being the only one who can help them with it. I like it because they would both absolutely hate to turn to each other.

This has so much potential! Rose being Hux’s handler but having to give him up to get out of the ship (or, perhaps, him giving himself up to save her); Rose being Hux’s handler and he gives her up to save his own skin after she finally learnt to trust him; them being stranded on a planet with some kind of monster or something; or…anything, anything you can come up with, I will always adore this trope.

I’m imagining Hux being A and Rose being B here, but if you can think of ways the other way round would work (where Rose is happy to let people die; that’s the bit I’m struggling with), I’d be into it too. Either way, this is a great trope. Noncon for the greater good!

Okay, I’m putting this with this request because I just adore this tag. I’m not sure how best to fit it in, but I was thinking maybe there’s a chance for one of them to trust the other, to save the other, to protect the other, and they fucked up. Or, they start something post-war and Hux is an absolute coward and backs out of it, and goes back with his tail between his leg, and it leads to this kind of thing.

I’m not sure, it’s just a damn good tag.

Yaaay falling in love with your prisoners when they despise you! I’m imagining Hux being the captor here, but maybe Rose develops a soft-spot while Hux is imprisoned on the rebel base? Either way, inappropriate feelings abound. With Hux, seeing him take advantage of the circumstances is something I’m definitely into.

Exactly as it says! I have chosen this for most of my requests because I just adore it.

This has so much potential to be fun! Them being stranded and Hux admitting shit and then…fuck, now we have to deal with the fallout of that confession?! Maybe recanting, maybe trying to twist it, maybe being absolutely terrified that it’ll be used against him. Or maybe only realising the certainty of his feelings once they’re said out loud.

I actually wouldn’t mind this trope ending with her requited her feelings, but it ending with just…pining and embarrassment and angst is also so, so welcome.

Crush Hux please with rejection. I especially like it if Hux is completely sexually inexperienced or both/either of them did things they wouldn’t normally admit to enjoying in sex. I’m also very into it being more tender than either of them expects, but Rose still recognising it was feelings caused by the pollen.

I’m open to any prompts for this, but if you need an idea, I was imagining Rose being undercover for the Order and it escalating with Hux — or maybe her whole purpose was to act as a bit of a honeypot. Or just sex to keep her cover. But just ‘cause he finds out she’s a traitor, doesn’t mean he can shut down his feelings just as quickly, even if he wants to. So…yeah. Or anything along those lines.
