Hi there! Thank you for writing for me. I’ve tried to include a wide range of prompts, but as noted, and as always, anything from my general likes or smut likes is a-okay. Go wild! I’m also open to prompts from previous letters being used, but please adhere to the DNWs in this letter only (my old ones include things I’m actually enjoy these days!).

I will be adding a Battle of the Bands song list soon — I haven’t had as much time as I’d like to go through that tag set yet. But even after, I’m happy with any songs you find inspiring :)

I am totally obsessed with Dimension 20! I love Fantasy High, A Crown of Candy and The Unsleeping City so damn much, and I adore the characters I’ve requested. I also like the wider cast, so feel free to include anyone else. And ship-wise, the only ship I’m not keen on is Riz with anyone but Fabian. Everything else is fair game, whether I requested them or not.

(On the subject of Riz, since there is a lot of talk about whether he is ace or not: I’m happy with you to go with whatever interpretation you like. Fabriz is my OTP so I’d rather him not be aro, but everything else is fine. If you do want him to be ace of some description, I would rather the fic wasn't about that, but rather it was just a fact.)

I like the goofy parts of D20 just as much as I love the way it hits hard in places. It’s made me laugh and cry more times than I can count, often one straight after the other. I like seeing the characters play off each other and interact, and I enjoy the world building in all their series so much! Deep diving into any of them is more than welcome.

The Folk of the Air

Gen is great, but in case you’re interested, these are my The Folk of the Air preferred ships: Jude/Cardan, Taryn/Nicasia, Taryn & Cardan, Taryn/Locke, Jude/Balekin, Jude/Daine, Taryn/Madoc, Vivienne & Madoc, Vivienne & Cardan

Sometimes I wonder if Holly Black can read my mind, because this series was tailor made for me. Jude/Cardans enemies-to-lovers is so perfectly iddy and I adore Jude and Cardan separately too. Both are so full of delicious self-loathing and control issues, and it’s so much fun to watch.

I also love all the supporting cast. I find Taryn sympathetic, Locke is great to hate, Madoc’s influence on Jude’s life is so interesting, etc. etc. Anything focused on any of them is grand. I especially love the power dynamics that consumes the whole cast, and how much they all struggle to dominate each other.

I’m happy for fic that concentrates on any of the different aspects. I’m good with something that is just fluffy post-canon Jude/Cardan, but I’m also on board with the dub- and noncon playground that Elfhame is. Worldbuilding is also of interest of me, and I do really like anything that shows the contrast between humans and fae. Postcanon or during canon is fine — as is pre-canon! But please be aware of my underage DNW if you want to go too far pre-canon.

Hamilton

Gen is great, but in case you’re interested, these are my Hamilton preferred ships: Hamilton/Burr, could be requited or unrequited.

I’m highkey pretty obsessed with Burr. He’s my favourite kind of character: bitter, self-loathing, trying so hard to succeed but failing, feeling like he’s always on the back foot. All this while genuinely being exceptional (just not in comparison) and ambitious.

I love the bitter rivalry with Hamilton, and I especially like it either being unrequited, or Hamilton only having a casual interest. But I didn’t request Hamilton as I’m also more than happy for it to be Burr on his own. I’m also open to non-Hamilton Burr-oriented ships, but I haven’t really explored them, so go wild :)

Please note that I am 100% unbothered by historical accuracy. It’s cool if you’re into it, but I don’t know much American history so nothing will stick out to me as long as they aren’t going to Starbucks.

Star Wars Sequel Trilogy

Gen is great, but in case you’re interested, these are my Star Wars Sequel Trilogy preferred ships: Reylo, Hux/Rose, Rey/Rose, Kylux, Finn/Poe/Ben, Finn/Poe, Finn/Poe/Rey, Rose & Paige, Finn & Rose, Rey & Finn

I was always just a casual SW fan until TROS annoyed me enough that I got sucked into wanting to see characters explored more! I’m happy for these to take place pre-, during or post-canon, wherever you think works best. I’m also very into AUs where Ben or Hux live, and any other canon divergent AUs you want to play with. I prefer Rey not to be a Palpatine, but as long as it isn’t the centre of the story, I really don’t mind.

I’ve got a lot of ships I’m happy to see here, mostly because I really like most of our main and supporting cast, and don’t feel like we got to see any individuals explored that thoroughly. It’s why I’m also happy for gen. Unusually pairings or team ups (hey, even Rose/Ben) are more than welcome. Go wild!

I’m a sucker for casefic in space and space horror, but I also love PWP, comedy and angst.

The Half of It

Gen is great, but in case you’re interested, these are my The Half of It preferred ships: Ellie/Aster, Aster/OFC, Ellie/OFC, Paul/OFC, Paul/OMC, Aster/OMC, Ellie’s Dad/OFC

This film! This was a film I wish existing when I was Ellie’s age. All of the characters feel so trapped in their small town by circumstance, all in different ways, and that speaks to me in a big way. Plus, they are all absolutely useless about their feelings. It felt so accurate and so loving in its portrayal of awkwardness. Plus it’s just a GORGEOUS film. And the church scene made me cackle.

I love all the characters a lot in this. Paul, Aster, Ellie, Ellie’s dad Edwin. Oh, and the small glimpses we get of Paul’s family are great too. Each find a piece of themselves along the way and build each other up despite the bullshit they put each other through. It’s so healing.

I’d be happy for supernatural elements or to stick to contemporary Halloween stuff. There’s a lot to explore. Pre- or post-canon is fine.

Succession

Gen is great, but in case you’re interested, these are my Succession preferred ships: Gerri/Roman, Roman/Kendall, Roman/Kendall/Shiv, Roman/Shiv, Kendall/Shiv, Shiv/Tom/Greg, Shiv/Willa, Tom/Roman

Damn, this show has me good. It’s so well-written, and the characters are such good self-hate machines. It’s the kind of show where, instead of rooting for anyone to "win", I’m rooting for them to stop playing. But I also just want to see them pushed to their limits and self-combust. It’s too much fun.

I was surprised by how much I love Gerri/Roman, but I also very much enjoy Roycest pairings, as long as they don’t include Logan. I also love them as non-incestuous siblings! I like the way they can’t let their guard down around one another, but they all have a deep understanding of each other that nobody else can match. I think I’m compelled by not being able to trust anyone, not even your own flesh and blood.

Any timeframe (pre-, during or post-canon) is fine. I’d love to see the fallout of S2 explored, but I’d also like to see them as younger adults, and how their dynamics might have changed over the years. If you want to do something where it’s Gerri-centric but not concentrating on Roman/Gerri, I’d be interested in seeing her professional relationship with Logan explored, what she thinks of the idiosyncrasies of the Roy family, or how she fought her way up the ladder.

Note that while I like Tom/Greg, I’m not super interested in Greg-centric fic, so I’d only want them as a background ship, if they are included.
