Dear Writer,
Please note that I’m kind of a verbose and anxious person, so while this letter has far too much going on, it’s mainly me word-vomitting in hopes that I’ll give you something—anything—to work with! But as long as it doesn’t hit my DNWs, I’m happy to see completely different interpretations of the pairings I’ve requested, even if they contradict the head canons I have. I’m always cool to see new things.
I tried to pick prompts that go well with my freeforms, but feel free to ignore those prompts and go in whatever direction you chose with the freeforms. Anything with these pairs will make my heart happy, and I love every single one of these freeforms — for most of these requests, I cut down from 60-70 freeforms, so the ones that are left were carefully selected as the most iddy.
For a couple of these, I checked for art too, but I have never gotten art before so I’m not entirely sure how/where to put my likes so… anything that includes these characters and maybe hints at any of my prompts would be super cool! I’ll try to include something more in this letter before the deadline.

Riz/Fabian
Fabriz is my OTP at the moment, and they are just the softest loveliest boys and I need them to be happy. Overdramatic Fabian and emotionally repressed Riz is just *chef’s kiss*. And things like Fabian crashing an entire ship (and knocking himself unconscious and accidentally killing Gilear again) into the side of a building to get to Riz quicker just show the lengths these two will go to to protect each other.
I’ve included a few smut prompts, but as my no underage DNW implies, I’d want any sex to ideally take place post-canon, when they’re a little older.
By the way, Riz being a trans man is fine by me, if you wanna do a trans headcanon — I’ve provided a prompt for that in case it tickles your fancy.
Lastly, Episode 16 hinted at Riz being on the ace scale. My head canon has adjusted to him being demi, but I’m happy for any interpretations, including him being a late bloomer, as Pok suggests.
Pairing Specific DNWs: No smut if they’re under 18 in the fic; death of Sklonda; homophobia from their parents (or anything direct; them misinterpreting their parents or being worried about their parents being homophobic is fine).
Prompts:
- What happens when one of them is under some kind of charm or enchantment that causes them to hurt the other? Do they care more for the enchanted one’s mental wellbeing than about their own injuries? How do they comfort the enchanted one once they’ve been cured?
- How does Fabian force Riz to stop skipping meals and sleep to spiral over a case?
- When does Fabian finally notice that Riz is letting himself get emotionally hurt by Fabian’s dumbassery in some capacity? How does he react and try to stop the hurt?
- How does Fabian react to Riz being the one to protect him, rather than the other way around?
- While Fabian transformed as a person after the incident on Leviathan, he's still not really reckoned with getting all of those people killed. What happens when he deals with it, and those emotions come out? How does emotionally repressed Riz deal with Fabian's burst of emotions?
- It’s years after the Forest of the Nightmare King, and yet they can’t stop reliving it in their dreams. How do they comfort each other?
- And if you wanted to go in the trans!Riz direction, Fabian helping him recover after top surgery would be lovely, as would anything where Fabian is super validating and affirming when Riz expects rejection when he reveals he is trans. Maybe he helps Riz with his T shots, or with a stitch he’s popped from top surgery or something!
Adaine/Ayda/Fig
I’ve actually never had an OT3 before this! But these three have awoken something in me, with how close they are, how utterly understanding they are of each other, and how much effort they put in to grow with each other.
Adaine and Ayda friendship’s is so pure (the punching spell! Bonding over their autism! Naming her fish after her! Adaine spending hours making the spell even when the Nightmare Forest approaches!). Adaine and Fig are such good friends, who always have each other’s backs and Adaine doesn’t let shit fly with Fig’s shenanigans. And, obviously, Ayda and Fig are just the damn cutest freaking canon couple to ever grace an actual play D&D show. Gosh gosh gosh. The three of them together? Just perfection.
I’m happy for Adaine to be ace, by the way, but equally happy to have them be allo.
Pairing Specific DNWs: Hardcore smut, and no smut at all if they’re under 18 in the fic; overuse of Gilear (some is fine, him being in the entire fic would be too much!)
Prompts:
- What happens when Adaine realises she has feelings for Ayda and Fig both? Especially given Fig’s reaction to Adaine asking Ayda to come into the forest with them? How does she tell them, what is she feeling when she does so?
- Adaine finally breaks down over her parents’ cruelty. How do Fig and Ayda help her?
- Fig is upset but neither Adaine nor Ayda can work out why. How do they work it out? How do they help?
- Fig and Ayda are both not great at giving comfort to Adaine, but she loves them anyway.

- Also, just any of them being sick and taking care of each other would be wonderful.
Harry Potter
I’m always happy to receive more Harry Potter fan fiction. It was one of my first fandoms (not quite the first, but almost), and it’s also the main one I write for still. What I really love is that at this point, I could be sold on any dynamic or ship with the right fanfiction, because I always feel like there’s so much room to move around in.
Hermione/Charlie
These two are so soft and lovely. Charlie has spent his whole life caring for things, and Hermione needs to be taken care of sometimes.
I like the fact that Charlie feels a lot of guilt for being interested in his brother’s ex-girlfriend, and so is extra cautious and is 100% certain that his feelings are unrequited (and he’s 100% wrong). But I like almost all stripes of this pairing, honestly, as long as there’s plenty of pining.
I love pre-getting-together fic for these two, where there is a lot of pining and uncertainty, but I’d be excited to see any stage. I mean, a period where they are hiding their relationship, or even just them being communicative and careful with one another after a hurt while in a relationship, would be awesome too.
Pairing Specific DNWs: Ron bashing (I prefer them to have an amicable breakup in the past or only mentioned in abstract as a past relationship); infidelity; anything pre-Battle of Hogwarts/with Hermione underage
Prompts:
- Hermione has driven herself to exhaustion over work, or Charlie finds her in her flat, deathly ill and must take care of her.
- Hermione has struggled with Harry and Ginny having kids, Ron being off married to someone else, meaning she doesn’t have many close friends left. She feels she has no one to turn to; there’s Charlie.
- How does Charlie react when she visits him on the Reserve and accidentally gets injured by a dragon?
- Anything that deals with Charlie helping her with emotional distress after she sees or dreams something triggering about the War.
- Any of these (or something completely different) in combination with her fears that having feelings for Charlie jeopardises her relationship with the Weasley clan (or, equally, Charlie’s fears his family will reject him if they knew).
DCU Comics
Gotham City Sirens was a series that came out in 2009, where Harley, Ivy & Catwoman become roommates, and during the series, there was a single kiss that launched my ship! Edward was also trying to stay on the right side of the law during this period, though it was becoming harder and harder.
Harley/The Riddler (Harleen/Edward)
Firstly, I should say that I’m happy for any fic around this ship to happen mostly anywhere in the canon, not just during the run of a not-very-popular run, hence why this is under DCU comics, not Gotham City Sirens as a fandom!
My main head canon is that while Harley has great affection for Edward, and maybe even attraction, I don’t think she’d ever go for him long-term, and I love the angst this creates. I also don’t think Edward would ever believe himself worthy of her anyway, he’s such an self-hating character in my favourite runs. There’s a dynamic to hurt/comfort I love where it’s off-kilter in terms of willingness to give. Here, Edward wants to lavish affection on Harley, wants to give her everything, but knows he shouldn’t because that’s not what their relationship about. Harley can accept stuff, and sometimes takes advantage of Edward, but it’s not like she doesn’t like him; it’s just in a different way than Edward needs.
Having said all that, I would also be super cool with seeing a different take on their relationship altogether, like maybe the feelings are mutual, but Edward is waaaay too self-sabotaging and deep in his own self-pity to realise it. Or it could just be sweetness and fluff, honestly.
I also wanted to note that I consider Harley bisexual, but that doesn’t really need to come up in the fiction so!
Pairing Specific DNWs: Over-the-top cutesy language from Harley (some is fine, just not every other word!); on-screen abuse (but I’m fine with it being off-screen and talked about/mentioned/implied); rape or rape recovery
Prompts:
- Harley comes to Edward extremely upset and possibly injured, but won’t say what has happened. How does Edward comfort and help her?
- The time one of them overstepped the other’s boundaries, or went too far, and the repercussions of it.

- Something dark and supernatural has come to Gotham City. How do they cope? How do they comfort the other one as it takes psychic hold?
